Approaches:
Remi's approach is warm and validating and aims to help you make sense of your thoughts, feelings and experiences. Her approach emphasises both understanding how our past experiences have impacted us and making present focused changes to help us move towards what we want to be different. In exploring both past events and present focused practical skills Remi hopes to help her clients move towards change that feels meaningful to them while validating the very real experiences that contributed to their pain in the first place. Her work is person centered and uses approaches from many modalities including but not limited to CBT and DBT.

On a personal note...
When she's not at the office Remi loves rugby, thrifting, crocheting, spending time with friends, and going on coffee walks. Remi considers herself a shy extravert meaning that although she's on the shy side she also loves being with people and recharges in the presence of others. She prefers learning by listening over reading which means she almost always has a podcast in her ears. She moved to Hamilton two years ago and loves exploring the city.
